The Mid-term meeting of the NANOSENS Project was held in Iasi, Romania during the 25th of November 2014 at the National Institute of Research and Development for Technical Physics (NIRDTP). The NANOSENS Mid-term Meeting provided the opportunity for a thorough analysis of the project progress during its first 18 months. Progress was analysed by each work package. The seven newly hired experienced researchers and the IP and innovation manager have also presented the progress of their work at NIRDTP.

The presentations gave an insight in the achievements related to twinning, recruitment, development and update of research equipment, workshops and conferences, dissemination activities, IPR and capacity building plan, evaluation, project management and further funding possibilities, as follows.

The overall conclusion is that the NANOSENS project activities are advancing as planned, and suggestions for further development have been made.
